Who can use Terry’s Place?

We anticipate the majority of our visitors to be older adults, but we hope people with a broad range of abilities and conditions will attend. We aim to be inclusive to all.

Visitors and their carers can access Terry’s Place through one of our Partner Organisations, or directly for a modest charge. Contact us to find out more.

We want visitors and those who care for them to feel happy, content, inspired, refreshed and nourished – emotionally and physically, wanting to return!

'What a difference a day makes!'

We welcome visitors from all walks of life, but particularly those in later life who feel they are ready for a little bit more social support, companionship, advice or reassurance.

Around half our visitors are referred through our partners, and a limited number of visitors can apply directly. Find out more about financial eligibility.

Our experienced and professional care team and volunteers are all deeply passionate about our mission: ‘to enrich lives, bring people together and share meaningful experiences’. 

Terry’s Place will bring a smile to your face, a tune in your heart, and help you to make the most of each moment. We want our visitors to feel happy, content, inspired, refreshed and nourished – emotionally and physically – and wanting to return!
